As proud owners, our main focus is supporting initiatives that enhance Blue Water’s well-being and development, safeguarding our long-standing culture and values. Occasionally, we extend our support beyond the organisation by providing special donations to projects that align with our priorities.
The decision to offer financial assistance is carefully made by the board of directors, considering the project's merits and financial feasibility. Our promise to always put people first is at the heart of every initiative we support.
Here are a few examples of what we have supported recently.
Happy League
PARTNERSHIPS
The happiest league in the world - Lykkeliga
LykkeLiga (HappyLeague) and Blue Water have teamed up to become ‘legekammerater’ (playmates).
LykkeLiga, the world's happiest handball league with over 1,500 players, focuses on spreading joy and bringing people together through sports.
“LykkeLiga is all about togetherness, volunteering, and spreading happiness through sports – they truly make a difference for children and their parents. They've created an incredible space where children can belong, despite challenges. We are proud to support their cause,” says Anne Skov, chairman of the Blue Water Foundation.
As part of the 'legekammerataftale' (playmates agreement), the Blue Water Foundation will support the annual LykkeCup – a day where everyone is celebrated for their unique abilities, and every participant is a star on the court. Blue Water will also manage LykkeLiga’s logistics needs, including ensuring that all players receive their team jerseys in time for LykkeCup.

Brazil Foundation
Rio Grande do Sul recently faced the largest flood in its history. The Blue Water Foundation, through the Brazil Foundation, supported the disaster-affected areas, which are home to several of our colleagues, following a direct request from an impacted employee. We are committed to making a positive impact on the places we call home all around the world.

“Lives saved must also be lived” is the vision that drives everything the Brain Damage Association does. This cause is personal to Blue Water's founder and resonates deeply with our promise to always put people first.
