Bringing joy and support to children and families
To celebrate a decade of operation, Blue Water Shipping in Frederikshavn, Denmark marked its 10th anniversary with a heartwarming donation of DKK 10,000 to Barnets Blå Hus.
Barnets Blå Hus offers free support and a safe space for children up to 13 years old and their families who are dealing with challenges related to alcohol and drug abuse.
The center provides therapeutic group sessions for children, individual counseling, parent support, outings, community meals, and summer camps - activities that help strengthen the sense of community.
A representative from Barnets Blå Hus expressed gratitude for the donation, saying, "With this generous donation from the Blue Water Foundation, we can offer the children and their families wonderful activities and trips outside the house."
Nicolai Sørensen, Department Manager at Blue Water Frederikshavn, added: “It’s truly rewarding to be able to spread a little cheer and make a difference in the lives of these families. We are proud to support Barnets Blå Hus and their meaningful work.”
