DUI-LEG og VIRKE

In celebration of Blue Water Lindo's 10th anniversary, the office donated DKK 10,000 to DUI-LEG og VIRKE on behalf of the Blue Water Foundation. DUI-LEG og VIRKE is a nationwide organization dedicated to children, youths and their families. They aim to enrich the lives of children and young people through a robust community, offering activities that span generations. Their efforts are grounded in the rights of children and youths, advocating for their voices when they are overlooked by adults.

Being part of DUI-LEG og VIRKE is about camaraderie and forming friendships. It connects children from across the country, and potentially the globe, and engages them in activities tailored to their interests and developmental needs. These activities range from weekend trips, arts and crafts, rock wall climbing, frisbee golf and canoeing to singing and drama, all designed to foster enjoyment and a sense of belonging.

Nikolai Heissel, General Manager of Blue Water Lindo, stated, "DUI-LEG og VIRKE is a fantastic cause that is run entirely by volunteer efforts. It's crucial to support the communities we're part of, which is why we've chosen to donate our anniversary contribution to the DUI-LEG og VIRKE branch in Munkebo, close to our Lindø office."

John Eriksen, department head of DUI-LEG og VIRKE in Munkebo, expressed his gratitude for the donation, which will benefit the 300 local members across all age groups.
