To celebrate a decade of operation, Blue Water Shipping in Sydney, Australia, marked its 10th anniversary with a heartwarming act of charity – a donation of DKK 10,000 to Koalas in Care INC (KIC). This generous contribution supports KIC's vital efforts in rescuing, treating, and rehabilitating koalas across Australia, addressing the urgent needs of these iconic creatures arising from accidents, diseases and other threats.

Renowned for its dedication to koala welfare, KIC acknowledges the donation as a crucial boost, aiding in the medical treatment and recovery process for koalas. Paul McLeod, a volunteer and President of KIC, expressed his gratitude, highlighting the impact of such support on their capacity to care for 100-150 koalas annually.

David Sandomierski, Operations Manager at Blue Water Sydney, shared his admiration for KIC's commitment, stating "Supporting KIC's noble cause fills us with pride. We're happy to contribute to the well-being of these beloved animals." He also shared an adorable photo of the KIC team with Zuri, a joey in their care, showcasing the tangible results of their collaborative efforts.

Since its establishment in 2013, Blue Water Shipping Pty Ltd has seen significant growth in Australia and now boasts a strong presence with offices in major cities and a team of over 140 employees.
